Last week my brother-in-law came home from his LDS mission.
We have not seen him for 2 years except for skype calls home on Mother's Day and Christmas.
His plane landed around 12:00am so we got to the airport around 10:00pm to make sure we got a prime spot.

He left shortly after Andrew and I were married and I feel the time went by so fast!
A lot of things have happened but not much has changed.

Here are some of the many pictures that we took + a video that I put together to capture the moments.

My Top 7 from DC + a Video

and I promise, this is the last one! 

But I have a video to share.

It's my first one, but I'm overall happy with it,



And here are my top favorites from DC:

1. Seeing the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution

2. The tour of the capital building 

3. Seeing the actual Star Spangled Banner (probably the top of the list)

4. Arlington Cemetery (this was amazing too)

5. The DC Temple

6. All the monuments 

7. All the real life artifacts from everywhere (love that kind stuff)

One Month!!!!!!!!!! (don't mind all the explanation marks)

I'm cheesy. I know. But honestly, how can I not celebrate 1 month of marriage?! 

Our one month also happened on the 4th of July (haha obviously)

or Independence Day!

What better way to celebrate with no work or school

and fireworks?! 

We tried to go to the parade down in Provo.

But we slept in. That opportunity won over the parade 

(we both love sleep).

We went to Kneaders for a FREE breakfast

because my mom served in the military 

(thanks mom for your service and the free food).
Oh and my dad LOVES to photobomb us whenever he's around.

We hung out at Andrew's house for a little bit

and we made a few videos with Boomerang.  

We make us laugh.

Later we also watched the fireworks,
there were sooo many.
(I think half of them were for Independence Day,
the other half was for us). ;)

We ate the top of our wedding cake at one month instead of one year,

I've heard it's so gross after 1 year 

no matter how many times you wrap it. 

It expanded a little bit in the freezer 

but it tasted just as good a month later as it did on the wedding day.

Here's our same day video edit of our wedding. Our videographer sent it to us on our honeymoon (pictures coming soon) and I kept watching it over and over again on the mini screen of my iPhone.  It was the most perfect day. Thank you to everyone who came and made our day so special! We loved celebrating with you!
