What Happens in Vegas

For Memorial Day my parents were taking a trip down to Vegas and invited Andrew and I along.
Of course we said yes! We are all for traveling and doing something different.
Vegas is defiantly something else and to be honest this was probably the best Vegas experience I've had.

Vegas always has something going on and something to see.

Something we loved about our trip was going to the WOW show and the name says it all.
It's somewhat like America's Got Talent- in fact some contestants from the show are in WOW. It has that
Vegas flair but it's a good family show. You know what I mean?

I highly would recommend it. My jaw was dropped the entire time in absolute amazement.

^The Bellagio hotel water show is always something we enjoy. It's a really scaled down version of World of Color
from Disneyland but still pretty neat to see^

One thing that I would not recommend is Fremont street. It's more the new Vegas which I am not a fan of.
The light ceiling was cool but that's it. Not worth it and it's not so family friendly.

Overall we did love our Vegas vacation. We swam, we ate, we partied.
And I'm really excited for summer which is in 2 days!!!

Congrats to the Mrs.

Yesterday my best friend got married and I could not be happier for her.
We met our freshman year at college and I got beyond blessed to have her as a roommate.
Our birthdays only have a day in between them so we have always celebrated our days together.
When I was on my mission we "ran into" each other when she came out to Cali for a little vacation.
No matter how many miles have been in between us she has always managed to be there for me.

We have too many memories to count.

Like how she would jump on my bed to wake me up in the middle of the night.
Or how we went to the Hunger Games midnight showing and we had classes the next day.
Or how one time I was talking to her about breaking up with a boy and then tears
start to flow and she knew exactly what to say.
When she flew out to my wedding when she had her finals for her masters a few days later.

I scored big in the friendship department with Alyse.

Her wedding day was an absolute fairy tale and I was beaming for her all night
and I am so glad that I was able to be there and celebrate her day. She deserves it.

^And here's a picture of Andrew to close this little blog post^
